WHY SANITIZE MATTRESSES, CARPET, & FURNITURE?

Not just because of bacteria and germs. But
because of this little creature above.
The Dust Mite!
The Problem
- Mites have existed for over 400 million
years - Dust and mites living in dust were first reported as being
seen through the microscope in 1694.
- Each year more than 50 million Americans
suffer from allergic diseases, costing more than $18 billion.
- According to USA Today: more than 45% of
the nation's homes, 44 million, have dust mites residing in them in
significant numbers.
Dust Mite Allergens
- 85% of Americans don't realize the air
in their homes may be a health hazard, according to a survey
released by the American Lung Association.
- Childhood asthma accounted for 10.1
million days missed from school annually. Asthma is the
number one chronic condition causing children to be absent from
school.
- The estimated annual cost of treating
asthma in children under 18 years of age is $3.2 billion.
They Are Hiding
In Your Mattress!
- According to Better Homes and
Gardens about 80% of homes in the United States have dust
mites.
- Millions of people in North
America are allergic to "house dust".
- The dust mite waste is perhaps 80
to 90 percent of the allergic component of the "house dust"
- The good news is that dust mites
don't hurt people, their diet consists of the 50 million
flakes of dead skin that pour off our bodies each and every
day.
- House dust mites are considered to
be the single greatest cause of indoor allergies.
- Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA) studies of human exposure to air pollutants indicate
that indoor levels of pollutants may be 2 - 5 times, and
occasionally more than 100 times, higher than outdoor
levels.
- According to The American Lung
Association, the EPA has identified indoor air quality as
one of the five most urgent environmental risks to public
health.
- Dust mites comprise over 50% the
weight of the average pillow.
- Depending on its age, your
mattress may contain between 1 and 10 million dust mites.
This is bad because your head and face lie directly on the
pillow and near the mattress allowing you to easily breathe
in the dust mite contaminants.

Did you know
the place we go, to get well when we are sick,
may be the most unsanitary place in our home?
Our beds! Unless they are sanitized!.

No matter how clean your house, no matter how
clean the bedding, you are still sleeping with these creatures and other
pathogens. They come through the bedding while you sleep, and there may
be millions of them
infested in your
mattress, pillows, and furniture.
We sweat more than a pint a night. The sweat soakes into the bedding and
mattress. Sweat and dead skin we shed each night becomes food. Our warm
bodies create a
perfect incubator for
dust mites, germs, bacteria, mold, and fungus to grow. We get up and the
bed cools, the growth slows, the next night it starts all over again,
night after night.
Dust mites excrete
a substance called
Guanine which
is
fecal matter. The
average mattress and pillow no matter how clean, contains millions of
dust mites. Each dust mite produces over
2000 particles of fecal matter,
that’s a Lot of guanine.
Our face is close to the mattress and pillows,
we inhale the dust mites and fecal matter
into our bronchia & lungs. Our immune system reacts to fight off the
invasion and triggers our symptoms.

There is also bacteria, mold spores, fungus, and other
pathogens in our mattresses and pillows.
We use the SaniClean Systems®, a chemical free
process in riding your bed of all these unwanted guest. The process includes
using a special high powered vacuum with pulsating waves of high vibration to
pulverize and destroy these pathogens. We then use a high heat dry vapor steam
machine to shoot 300 degree steam deep into the mattress instantly killing any
remaining dust mites and other pathogens. They are then extracted out of the
mattress. Leaving a clean, sanitized mattress.
